Telkom University Delegation won the Bandung Mayor's Trophy in WBMC 2015

Bandung, StudentsTel-U – On Friday, April 24th, 2015, Team 2 Telkom University has successfully won 1st place in Widyatama Business & Management Competition 2015 (WBMC 2015). The members are, Novi Yolanda Nadapdap (FEB 2012), Made Harmika Pradnya (FKB 2012), Izati Rizka Yuherdania (FEB 2012).

Widyatama Business & Management Competition is a national event with management as its theme. The competition was held for three days, starts from April 22nd until April 25th, 2015. Also, it is using the Team System with the members of 3 people. The winner will get a prize of Rp 8.000.000 (1st Place), Rp 6.000.000 (2nd Place), and Rp 4.000.000 (3rd Place).

The Telkom University Team 2 was facing all of the universities that attending the competition (including Widyatama University and Padjajaran University) from the elimination stage until the final stage. The elimination stage is consists of two different challenges. There are Team Test (answering 60 multiple-choices questions in 90 minutes) and Think and Push (Quiz System).

Then, the top 4 with the highest score (Telkom 2, Widyatama 1, Widyatama 2, and Padjajaran) from the elimination stage went to the case study stage. Two teams with the highest score from the case study stage (Widyatama 1 and Telkom 2) will go to the final stage, which is the debate stage. In the end, Team 2 of Telkom University managed to defeat Team 1 of Widyatama University in the final stage.

Team 2 of Telkom University has won the Bandung Mayor’s Trophy. They also got the money prize of Rp 8.000.000 and got a chance to attend “Kuliah Umum: Be Ready for ASEAN Economic Community” in Trans Studio Bandung for free.
